Trileptal and marijuana

I take 2 pills in the morning of trileptal and 3 at night as of recent. I began smoking weed a few months ago but only once in a while. In the last 6 weeks though, I have been smoking at least once a week and have been fine. Although a few days ago I smoked and a few hours after I had a seizure in front the of my friend. I was at least 3 hours late on my night dose of trileptal but I have been that late before and nothing has everhappened. Was it because of the weed and should I stop smoking or could it have been the time even though it has never happened before in that time interval?
