Trileptal

My 2 year old daughter has been taking trileptal for the past year , they started her off with 2.5 ML twice a day by the 7th month of her being on that medication we started noticing she would loose her balance and muscle coordination this started in august of 2016 she would fall a lot and by the end of November she stopped walking completely , she couldn't stand up on her own she depended on us to get her to places she started crawling but her legs wouldn't cooperate sometimes I started having second thoughts on the medicine so me and my husband cut it down to 2 ML once a day and by the week she started walking again she would still loose her balance but she was getting better and wouldn't fall anymore it's been almost a month since she started walking and now she's falling again loosing strength on her legs and I'm afraid she'll stop walking completely has anyone else had this problem before ?
