Tegretol CR 400mg/day

Mon, 09/12/2016 - 22:29
Hi all, I have been taking Tegretol CR since being diagnosed in 2010. When I first started taking it I had extreme drowsiness and some nausea as well as a small amount of memory loss but that subsided over the first few months of using it. Over the past 6 months I have started to become drowsy again, my memory loss has worsened and I find it extremely hard to concentrate at university or even during long conversation. Has any one experienced this? Did their neurologist change their medications or suggest any additional medication? Thanks in advance! :)

My advice would be for you to

My advice would be for you to talk to your neurologist about these issues. Call them and ask them your questions. Then may want you to come in for a visit. If your weight has changed or there have been any other changes they may have affected the therapeutic levels. But then at times blood levels need to be checked. When I was on tegtetol mine was checked yearly.
