Side effects after one seizure
Sat, 04/25/2015 - 23:00I've have had one grand map seizure so far. I feel like I've had a total personality change. A lot of things aggravate me that didn't before. I feel like I'm super short tempered. I have migraines all the time and I don't know what to do. I just want to know if this is normal and if it's going to go away eventually. I want my normal life back.

those sound like they could be side effects to some medications. But without knowing if the neurologists prescribed medications or how long you have been taking them a person can't go very far at trying to give you information other then to say it can be seizures of some kind or side effects to some medications. If a person has been put on meds the side effects can last until yor body gets used to them which can be 3-6 weeks. It takes time for your body to get used to medications and seizure meds are not like aspirin where one size fits all. Seizure meds have to build up to the theraputic levels are in your body at the dosage the doctors have set for you. I hope this helps Joe
