Seizure meds and plaquenil

I have RA and sojerns. I currently take Lamictal 500 mg daily and zonegran 300mg daily for my seizures. My rheumy suggested Plaquenil and prednisone for my autoimmune conditions. Has anyone experienced breakthrough seizures while on plaquenil? My husband prefers I do not use the prednisone. My neuro is hesitant about prednisone but working on the issue to help me. My seizures are very hard to treat. Other medications that are normally safe for others end up causing me problems. I suffer pain and severe fatigue. I need help. I have more bad than good days. I would like to have a normal life again.
