The safest way to withdraw from Keppra

Tue, 12/13/2016 - 14:49
Hi, I was wondering if this schedule will work out fine. Because I been on keppra for exactly 8 months, without seizures, and I really want to quit this medication asap due to the massive side-effects I have. I have seizures 9 times counting from 2015 April - 2016 March, and after March, I took the Keppra Medication, and since then I didn't have any Seizures, but the catch is that I will be getting A LOT of side-effects, which I did and it's horrible. Please tell me if this schedule will work out fine!!! It means a lot. (stage 1) 500mg AM 250mg PM (for 6 weeks) (stage 2) 250mg AM 250mg PM (for 6 weeks) (stage 3) 250mg AM 125mg PM (for 8 weeks) (stage 4) 125mg AM 125mg PM (for 8 weeks) (stage 5) 125mg AM stop PM (for 8 weeks) Thank you so much!!!! -Judy
