Nuedexta

Thu, 11/06/2014 - 01:04

i am taking Lamictal for my simple partial seizures.  I started having crying spells and irritation issues.  My dr put me on Lexapro.  Then I had side effects. Now the dr seems to think that the lamictal should have prevented any crying issues because that is the other way the lamictal is used for depression and bipolar.  So now she thinks maybe there is a lesion in the area of the brain that may be causing the crying spells so that is why we are going to try Nuedexta.  Now my question.  Has anyone taken this medication?  I asked a pharmist and he had to look it up.  I am worried because it surpresses crying and laughing spells.  I don't want to quit laughing!  That is what keeps me sane!  Any help would be appreciated.

Oh, ps... it won’t keep you from laughing… You will just laugh at the appropriate time when something is actually funny
