Nausea and Zofran

Sat, 12/24/2016 - 21:00
Zofran is EXCELLENT for the horrible stomach pain after a seizure if you can get coherent enough to take it or have someone to give it to you. They pumped me with IV Zofran in the ambulance and it was GREAT. No more nausea or abdominal pain. I never vomited but my stomach pain would be so bad (and I couldn't understand what was happening) that I would try to undress and run. Just my reaction to try and get the pain to stop I guess. Freaks out people especially if they have never seen a seizure in the first place. What do you do with a lady fighting you with super human strength (I was able to fight off 3 fireman one time) trying to remove her clothes in public and then run? Not cool. The Zofran for some reason I will take it orally (they have some that melts under your tongue) even before I know what is going on and then I calm down. For me-even if I cannot understand anything else-for some reason hearing certain things like "Zofran" will at least let me be calm enough to take it.
