My Drugs Cost TOOOO Much!!!

Topic: Medication Issues

Can anyone help me with this? Does anyone know of a prescription drug discount site or anything that I can find help to pay for my meds? I don't have health insurance right now and I'm not working right now. (Believe me though, I am looking for a job.) For both of my prescriptions, they were about $900, but I had them transferred to a wholesale pharmacy and now the total is about $650. That is still way too much. I've been looking online for programs and have only found one. There are a lot out there, but they're not carrying the medication we NEED. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Thanks.Maya

Hi Maya, two thoughts about help with meds. check with the pharma company who makes your meds. the people who make lamictal have a 'bridgestoaccess' program which works with your MD to provide a 3mos supply to folks like you and me. also, contact 'www.themedicineprogram.com' or call them at 800.694.3893. hope this helps. happy trails- gonzo

Hi Maya,Another option is to talk to you doctor. My daughter's neurologist gives us samples for her, as we have LOUSY prescription drug coverage, factored in with my being laid off!
