follow the directions when

follow the directions when taking your meds. If it says 2 times a day then those times need to be as close to 12 hours apart as you can make them. Unless your neurologist says otherwise.  You also need to understand that seizure meds are not like aspirin where once taken they go away after a few hours. It takes 3-4 weeks for your body to get used to them. Which is during the time period it takes to get the therapeutic levels where the neurologist  wants them at the dosage you started with. After that time period keep track of the number of seizures for awhile. That way you will be able to let your neurologist know where adjustments need to be made.
