The medication switch!!

Wed, 04/27/2016 - 23:07
I have been having seizures since I was 14 just out of the blew. I've been on trampoline which only made things worse. Then I was put on keppra. Keppra has been my rock for almost 8 years and now that I have mentioned that my anger and frustration is way out of control and all I want to do is sleep my neurologist has me slowly switching to Lamictal. I'm only done with day one and I am terrified now. It has literally just hit me that I'm in the beginning stages of losing my rock that has kept me seizure free since August 29 2012. She has told me Lamictal is a good medicine and I shouldn't have a seizure but I am the most scared I have ever been.
