i suffered from neurocystecercosis, and had two cysts in the left perital lobe of the brain , doctor advised albendazole for one month and i was soon free from parasites.for seizure they first gave me levetiracetam and after 2 days they shifted me to valporic acid , for 2-3 months i was ok, but soon seizure occured again and i was switched to Oxcarbazepine , i was doing well on it for around 3 years , after which doctors decided to slowly dcrease the dose of medicine, as soon as they started decreasing the dosage on Oxcarbazepine , 2 weeks went fine but in third week seizure reoccured, and i was again put back to orignal dosage of Oxcarbazepine ( i.e : 450 mg morning and 600 mg at evening ) and presently i am going on the same course. the above thing was of seizure medication, now for anxiety attacks which i used to get inbetween , i was firstly given duloxetine and then shifted to paroxetine as doctors said that duloxetine is not good for people aged for me, so on paroxetine for one week i started to develope sucidal thoughts and when i reported the same to doctor they shifted me to sertraline, i was doing fine for 3 years on sertraline as since i had my another breakthrough of seizure after 3 years as stated above in seizure medication paragraph, i found that sertraline is not at all able to control my anxiety attack , so as per now i am on Escitalopram. now the thing is that the mri that i have been through in my 3 years have showed that cyst have been totally calcified and the latest mri showed that the scar left due to calcification is affecting my sensory cortex in my left perital lobe of the brain, due to which i am having sometimes severe numbness in my right hand, the numbness is so severe sometimes that it makes me feel that seizure is about to come and then anxiety level increases. my concern are not related to seizure, because no ne can do anything about seizure, as if it has to come, it will come, but what makes me feel scared is the loss of snsation in right hand, which is totally untolerable and i pray to god as either help me out or just call me up as death would be a good solution for it. please tell me how to deal with the numbness, i have been to neurologists most of the time and they all say its a panic attack whereas what i assume is that they are not at all understanding me and they conclude by saying that, please do not think about it, which is impossible for me to do. please help me with the numbness first
