Looking for someone who knows about ....

Hi, once again the Drs had to switch my meds because of a allergic reaction to Depakote. I broke out in hives.....I have hives places i never knew hives would go. The dr now put me on Neurontin. Does anyone have any experience with this med? Any side effects I should watch out for? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I pray I dont have an allergic reaction to this lke I have had with the others(Keppra,trileptal and now depakote). Thank you Karen

Hi Karen, I have been on Neurontin for about 5 years now, and have had no side effects or problems with neurontin,however, that is not say that you will be the same. Everyones' body tolerates medications differently. Neurontin cannot be tested for theraputic levels in your blood as it has a very short life in your body. Hope that helps you. Aussie 2006
