Lamictal Rash help?

Tue, 10/24/2006 - 17:19
I know all about "the Rash". I've been on Lamictal for about 3 months or so but the tops of my feet have little red dots on them and a small area on both arms. Where does the Rash start and what do I look for? I know..call my doc and I will in the morning, but I hate to panic when it could be something else. NO fever, No itching and the picture I saw of the Rash looks nothing like mine. Mine kind of looks like when you shave your legs and you get little red bumps afterwards, but no bumps.

I'm on Dilantin, but I get a similar rash on my stump ( I lost a leg when I was 19), where it fits into my prosthesis. That is one of many reasons why I'm asking my neuro to swith me to a different med.

I'm on dilantin also, so that may be it. I wonder if the combination of the two mess with each other's levels and effects.

That you would have to discuss with your Dr. By the by, I use witch Hazel on the rash and it helps.
