Wed, 09/27/2006 - 09:39
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this or heard of it? I began taking Lamictal about 3 months ago and just recently I have been diagnosed with Asthma. Never had any symptoms of Asthma before. Wondering if Lamictal could be the culprit? Thanks, Sandy

The drug induced severe

Submitted by imnotjust on Thu, 2007-01-11 - 23:35
The drug induced severe asthma in me which went largely undiagnosed by three different physicians. Before taking the drug I did not have asthma at all but 6 months into it i frequently had severe asthma attacks in the middle of the night. Now even two years after discontinuing it due to a general autoimmune syndrome it induced, my asthma is terrible. Rumor has it that GSK is secretly investigating Lamotrigrine's relation to asthma. In other words, you're not alone.
