Lamictal and Hair Loss

Thu, 03/23/2017 - 12:59
Hello there, I've been taking Lamictal for a very long time and I've been losing my hair for the past several years. My sleep doctor says it is probably because I've been on Lamictal for so long so we are considering changing it once we excluded all other possible causes. I was wondering if anyone here has experienced this and did your hair come back after stopping Lamictal?

I have heard other people report that, think someone here, definitely someone on the old epilepsy foundation forums. Haven't seen it so far with our child, only starting the fourth year on lamotrigine.
