Keppra xr and lyrica issues

Sat, 03/04/2017 - 21:12
I have been taking keppra xr for around 2 years. I had a tragic brain injury in 2001 and began having grand Mal seizures roughly 2 years ago. I was put on keppra and continued having seizures roughly every 6 months. I had a seizure on January 30th 2017 and went to my neurologist on February 1st. I was put on 6 500mg keppra xr per day and 75mg lyrica twice per day. On February 22nd I had a funny feeling and began feeling dizzy and my right foot and toes went numb. I contacted my Dr and was dropped to 50mg lyrica. The dizzy feeling continues along with the numbness. I also feel like a seizure is about to happen but they do not occur. I feel all of this is related to the lyrica just wondering.

I had a seizure last night.  I felt it coming on and run and laid down in bed.  I had stopped taking the lyrica Sunday.  It was a weird feeling I felt the normal way I do going into a grand mal seizure but never lost consciousness just felt like I couldn't breath.  I went to the er and they done blood work and a CT scan.  Everything came back normal.  I contacted my neurologist this morning and he started me on vimpat
