Keppra dosage question

Thu, 12/01/2016 - 10:29
Hi All, After a recent visit with my Neurologist, we've added Lamictal to the Keppra i'm already on to see if it can help better control the few seizures I'm still having. I was curious if anyone here has tried adjusting their Keppra regimen? The reason I ask is because I notice all of my seizures come between 6pm and 8pm. I take my second dose of Keppra at 8pm on the dot. What I spoke with my Neurologist about is switching to a 3 dose schedule of Keppra. Instead of 1500mgs twice daily, I'd be taking 1000mgs three times a day. I'm only apprehensive because this would mean I'd go all night on 1000mgs. Yet, at the same time when I was on 500mgs, 750mgs, and 1000mgs, I never had a seizure over night. Anyway, any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, John
