Keppra and Zonisamide

Fri, 01/29/2016 - 01:41

Hi Everyone,

I have been on Keppra since I was 14 I am now 20 and Zonisamide I think 2-3 years and ever since I was but on Zonisamide it seems like my seizures are worse. I do get moody, dizzy, memory, and speech problems but I always called that "zoning out" I did tell my doctor about it he didn't seem concerned. My grandmother passed in late 2014 and then 2 months later my great aunt and I've been having horrible depression. I take 1250mg of keppra morning and night so 2500mg a day and then 600mg of zonisamide a day. My doctor is taking me off zonisamide and putting me on depakote and so I was looking into vitamin B6 and I was wondering does that help? Does it interfere with depakote or zonisamide or is it just for keppra?
