keppra and lamactil

I've been on 500 mg keppra 2x daily since October. They tried increasing the dose in November but it did not go over well. I was feeling ok on this low dose for a while But just recently started feeling bad again so I called Neuro to try the increase of keppra again. He called me in for eeg Wednesday. They just called saying it was still showing left sided sharp waves so I am to start taking lamactil 25 mg 2x a day. I hate medicine. It took me a while to adjust to keppra Now I feel like I'm about to be in bed for another 2 months.
