How to help focus while on Lamictal

Mon, 01/25/2016 - 16:55

Hello,

I have been on Lamictal for almost 10 years and have had only one seizure during this time...it works for me.  I'm 55 years old and take 300 mg twice a day.  However, I have had a lot of stress in my life these days and it seems to have exasperated my memory/confusion side effects.  I recently started a new job that is incredibly detail oriented and I am failing miserably.  Are there any examples of people taking another drug to combat the memory/confusion effects?  I have to address this or lose my job (quit or get fired).  Currently have a call into my neurologist but have not talked to him yet.

Thanks, I appreciate your feedback.
