Hair loss on Lamictal...or is it something else???

I have been on Lamictal since early spring, just recently got to the full dose of 200 mg twice daily.
For the past month or so I have noticed a lot of hair loss/thinning in the front of my head. I am curious if this is a side effect from the Lamictal, or if it is something else. I also have PCOS, which can cause hair loss, although I have never had it has a symptom before. Also, I take Orth TriCyclen LO, Biotin, baby aspirin, Folic Acid 4mg, and occasional melatonin for sleep.
Any help would be appreciated!
