How are things going? It's not unusual to have different feelings as you come off drugs but also hard to sort out what is causing the sensations. If you are still having strange feelings or symptoms, make sure you talk to the neurologist to sort these out and see if medication or seizure related, or maybe something eles.. Here's a link to medication section of epilepsy.com for starting/stopping meds. Start here and click away - see if any of this helps you.. but don't use this instead of talking to your doctor, just start list of questions to take to him or her. Hope it helps! http://www.epilepsy.com/epilepsy/medicine_startstop.html Epilepsy.com Resource Specialist

Were you taken off meds completely or taken off Tegretol and put on a different medication? After taking the tegretol for so long, your system probably feels weird without it. I know when being taken off other seizure meds and being put on new ones, I felt strange for awhile too. I'm sure it was just as much getting off the old meds as getting used to the new ones. I would definitely let your neuro know, both so he would be aware and to make you feel better. I am so thrilled to hear of your being seizure free for so long! Thumbs up!!!! Smiles! -Spiz
