Generic keppra lupin

Fri, 06/09/2017 - 11:03
I was forced by my plan to switch to generic keppra ER tabs made by lupin.and ended up in ER. This is not the first time a generic triggered a relapse. My carrier flat out refused to cover keppra. The issue of substandard generics for epileptics is real. Why does no organization in the US address the issue?

You might also want to talk

You might also want to talk to the government. You may not know it but regulations in Obamacare. Medicaid and medicare and other things requires pharmacists to use generics if available. Insurance carriers also have regulations that are written within the same things I posted. As for generics and them not working. You need to research some more. In order to be approved they must have the exact same working ingredients in them. The only difference is the fillers.I have been using generics for well let me put it this way. As long as there is a generic I have used it. I have only been living and dealing with epilepsy and seizures for 50+ years now.As for the relapse you had are you sure it was the generic??

I just started on Lupin keppra. I took levels on the brand yesterday and will check levels in a couple of days. I've been on brand for 12 years because 8 years ago Milan keppra did not work.My insurance company is also making my doctor do this. Did you ever get it figured out?
