Effexor XR has cause me grand mal seizures for 10 years, HELP!
Sun, 01/24/2016 - 17:34Hey everyone, I am 26 and started having seizures when I was 15 when I started taking 150-220mg of effexor because my doctor put me on it, I have had over 30 seizures in the last 10 years, the first 3 happpening after 6months of taking it.
I have been to hospital, neurologists, doctors, and psycologists and FINALLY after 10 years and not having a epileptic brain but responding to flashing lights I finally find out its because of the effexor XR. I had a seizure 20 days ago and still have very impacted vision and I feel like ill be partiallly blind forever. PLEASE please, If you are on this but don't have epilepsy and have seizures, talk to a doctor you trust or pharmacist to get all the info for this off the NPR, this reduces th sezuire threshold by at least half and stress will be a decieding trigger. I have to say something as 10 years of my life was taken bythis and im refusing to take it for another day. I have read many stories about this and want to share my love to ANYONE that has seizures as grand mal seziures are the scariest thing I have ever expeirenced and want to know if there are any more stories?
