Lets see..................... I have a coffee cup in my hand and fill it several times in the mornings. When at work I had one which got filled almost hourly. when I don't have coffee I generally have tea. Both of which have caffeine. As for chocolate????????????? Ever see a chocoholic?? Get me around it and I munch. Each person is different. Each persons triggers are different. Just like each persons seizures and medications taken are different to them.Vimpat I take along with keppra. In the last 50+ years I have had no problems with chocolate or caffeine.I have been at it for years but limits are needed. If you know caffeine needs to be watched closer then limit your caffeine some. I hope this helpsJoe

I'm on Vimpat 150mg twice a day, and I have coffee almost every day. I, however, need to drink it rather slowly (sip don't chug). I can sometimes feel the side effects of the Vimpat a little more when drinking coffee (dizziness, feeling like I'm floating) but its nothing major. I would recommend starting with low amounts of caffeine and seeing how you feel?
