Please help me! Hi! my daughter is a 13-yr.old who is mentally retarded with a seizure disorder.  She also has a vp shunt for hydrocephalus  and is legally blind and has CP.  She has been on depakote and topomax for some time now, but is has become increasingly difficult to get her to take her medicine because she will not swallow it.  We have tried opening up the capsules and sprinkling them on her food but she is so stubborn and spits it out!  Does anyone know of liquid forms of these meds to make her and our lives easier!  Please help!! I'm at my wits end!!!
