Chronic cough with Keppra

Sat, 06/03/2017 - 00:37
Has anyone taking Keppra or have a child on Keppra noticed a chronic cough? My daughter has been on it for a little over a month and has a cough since. I wasn't sure if it was due to allergy season or the meds. I have tried claritan with no luck. I would rather not change her meds but the cough really bugs her and it's starting to interrupt the class (it is non-stop all day except for sleep). Any knowledge on this or advice is appreciated.

I have been on keppra for 5 years now. I have had pneumonia 3 times, a chronic phlegmy cough. Earaches, enlarged tonsils and sweating problems. Make sure not to take any Benadryl or any allergy meds that contain D. Regular Claritin only. Benadryl actually causes seizures in people with epilepsy. Vitamin B-6 and magnesium should be taken along with keppra! Hope this helps!
