CBD Users?

I'm a 51 year old male recently diagnosed with epilepsy after years of partials! Took the few TC's to get diagnosed and a whole bunch of Cardiac unnecessary testing and monitoring devices including one in my chest! Anyway , keppra makes me horribly manic and doesn't do anything so I lower my dose and tried Cannabis oil this last Saturday after 6 seizures they were occurring every hour after 2 hours of taking the oil I was seizure free 5 hours, after the other I took more oil had 2 seizures one hour apart and silence again. Seems to me it should be taken every 4 hours in bad days ? Anyone with experience please ? Thanks!
