Can Valproic acid cause gum inflammation?

Is it possible for Epilepsy medication to cause gum inflammation?

I know of a few medications that can make your gums fluctuate and by doing that you might get some inlamation. I was on one that did but rinsing your mouth daily keeps it down. Most of the inflamation I had was not from the medication.

Gum inflammation can cause teeth to move and eventually you will lose them unless you have excellent oral hygiene.  But it is difficult when teeth have moved.   I want to straighten my teeth so that it is easier to clean the pockets.  Has anyone looked into adult orthodonture such as Invisalign?
