Due to Medical Cannabis Card I will pop positive of a drug test Essentially I can not find a "real" job that will hire me due to my "Failing of a Drug Test" for my Doctor Prescribed Medication. Discrimination? I asked Lowes and their HR's HR said "No Exceptions" My seizures were under control, I was in the Automotive field and which now I can no longer drive. I chose not to anymore for public safety. Im pretty good in retail but I kinda gave up after hearing what Lowe's had to say. Any Ideas? Im stuck washing dishes at a sports bar after 13 years of car experience. Thank you all. Jim

I am in Georgia and have a medical card for CBD oil.  Medical marijuana is illegal in the state, so are you talking about CBD?  The card itself does not show drug use at all.  The actual oil is different, but it hasn't held me back at all.  I've seen you popping in and out of the chat room, probably seeing if you've had any answers to your post.

In situations like this its hard to find a job no matter where you live. Im from California and it isnt any different over here, even if you have your Recommendation Letter. There are places that carry products to pass drug test. Not the best solution some would say but what you do outside of your place of employment for your health shouldn't matter as long as it stays that way. I would like to add that the drug test look for THC not CBD. This is only my opinion on the topic.
