Absence Seizures & Marijuana... does it work???

I have always given marijuana a thought but never truly considered it, so that's why I am here writing this! I am 23 years old I was diagnosed with absence seizure when I was 14 but I have been having them since I was 11. I have also had 3 grad mals. I am taking 600mg Zonegran and 800mg Lamictal right now. I have tried Topamax, Keppra and one other I can never remember the name. My dr and I are trying to stay away from Depakote. Throughout my whole experience I have tried multiply combinations of these medications and none work. The longest I've gone without having a seizure on my medication is 5 months, but that was about 5 years ago. Now I can't even go a day without having one. I went to Africa in January for a professional trip and I can't even explained what happen, and either can my dr, it was some sort of seizure, I was dizzy, had no depth perception, I was out of commission for a week. Ever since then I haven't been the same. I have at least 2 petite mal seizures a day. Some days I am ridden to my bed because I can't even hold conversations or think straight. About every 2 or 3 weeks the same thing that happened in Africa happens just not as bad. Last week I actually went into to a seizure in the shower and I came out of it and I thought I was in a different persons shower. I was having hallucinations that people were grabbing things from my shower. Needless to say, my medication just ain't cuttin' it anymore! I really need to find something because I am just starting Graduate school. I've heard stories and done research before but like I said I never really considered marijuana until I saw the CNN report on Charlotte, the 5 year old with 300 gran mals a week, and it seriously caught my attention, and now I'm doing some serious research. SOO I GUESS MY MAIN questions is.... Does anyone have petit mal seizures and find using marijuana helps you???? I know this has been written about in other forums, but not specifically about petit mal seizures. So sorry. =) Thank you!
