please help! Looking for guidence with sons seizures at night..

Sun, 02/19/2012 - 22:12
My 13 month old son was diagnosed with epilepsy in January. He has several different seizures and goes into status epilepticus. His seizures happen between 7pm and 7am. I need to figure out a way to be woken to help him at night when he seizes mainly incase he falls into a status seizure....they last about two hours with us catching it right away and starting his rescue med routine at the hospital. His seizures vary but his most common is were he goes completely limp, still, quiet and his head and eyes deviate to the right. Even sleeping in bed with him would be hard to tell when he is having them. I am thinking of trying a pulse ox but am hoping somebody has dealt with or is dealing with something like or similar to this and can tell me what worked for them.
