A friend who understands

Wed, 09/07/2016 - 19:04
Hi, My daughter is 8 years old and had seizures for the last 2 1/2 years. She has had a mixture of tonic clonic and grand mal seizures over this time and finally we have seem to of got to a point that the meds are helping over the last 6months. But now she is suffering with anxiety as her seizures start with pins and needles in her hands and feet so she pretty much daily thinks she is going to have one. She would really love a friend to write/email who understands a little what she is going through with epilepsy as everything group wise/meets seems to be aimed at adults. Can anyone point me in the right direction or maybe there is someone who has a boy or girl around the same age that would love a pen pal! Thanks in advance Kirstie
