Fighting Together

I know as a 14 year old, how hard it can be to not be able to do such things as sleeping over at friends houses, riding bikes and going on school camps, And i know how alone you can feel when you think that tour the only one and that nobody understands, as epilepsy isnt one of those illnesses that are really discussed under the spotlight, so I want to let everyone know that your not alone, and if you have epilepsy then you can fight ANY obstacle in your way, because to me, epilepsy has made me (on the inside) feel like a stronger person!

Thank you so much for saying that. I really needed to hear this today. My daughter is only 9 and I am going to try to get her some help to understand this now while she is young. God bless you Thanks Tre

Thankyou Tre, I think its much easier knowing that your parents are with you and helping explain it, so your daughter WILL get through it, understanding that its just one of those things in life. If you have any questions you would like to ask, you may. I have been an epileptic for 2 years, and have had 21 seizures. I have been sent to hospital in an ambulance 6 times, and have had 3 seizures in one day.Only once, luckily. in which i have had to stay in hospital for 3 days after the seizures. I understand that there are lots of epileptics out there that are much worse off than me, but i like to show young kids, and teens around my age thats its not the end of the world, and that i have met a few people on this E site that have seemed to be against my opinion and my side, but im just here to explain how it is being a kid with epilepsy! Thanks again ~ Zoe
