FEBRILE SEIZURES/EPILEPSY

OK...MY SON JUST TURNED 2 TWO WEEKS AGO. HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH EPILEPSY BY AN EEG THAT TURNED OUT ABNORMAL. THE NORTHERN HEMPISPHERE OF HIS BRAIN SHOWED AN UNDERLYING EPILEGIC DISORDER. WE HAVE A CT SCAN ON THURS. I STILL FEEL THAT THE DIAGNOIS MAY HAVE BEEN INCORRECT. HE HAS HAD 6 SEIZURES SINCE MAY. ALL OF THEM HAVE BEEN WITH A FEVER AND EAR INFECTION, ETC....WE HAVE BEEN TOLD UP TO THIS POINT THATIS WAS A FEBRILE SEIZURE. PLEASE HELP ME UNDERSTAND....I AM NEW AT THIS AND KINDA SCARED...ANY ADVICE, HELP, WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

sorry about your son.. what other tests are they planning and make sur u ask ALOT of qoustions and get 2-3 opinions
