Face gets hot and flushed while watching movies

Sat, 11/13/2010 - 23:10
My 13 yr. old son began having grand mal seizures at age 4. The neurologist told us that they were Rolandic seizures and would likely go away before he reached puberty. This turned out to be true and he has been seizure free for the past 4 years. Something I have noticed, however, is that his cheeks turn bright red and are hot whenever he watches a movie. My other son, who is 4 right now, does the same thing when he watches movies. He has never had a seizure but I am concerned that this is a sign that they may be coming. Is this just an oddity in my kids or does it happen to others who have seizures?
