Decrease of frequency of seizures but increase of Auras ?

Hello
Maya (my daughter) used to get approximately 1 seizure a month , however since the last 3 months she has not had a seizure but auras have continued about once/twice a month.
In the last 2 weeks the auras have increased tremendously to almost every 2-3 days. !
Any thoughts

My understanding is that an aura is a small seizure and it seems your daughter's medicine is only controlling the seizures enough so that they don't completely break through. I would let her doctor know and he/she may want to slightly increase the medication. My daughter has recently been going through the same thing and we are slow titrating up on Lamictal and we are seeing her auras dissapate in the process.
