Sat, 05/13/2017 - 22:43
Ever since I had a grand mal seizure about a week ago of my back and legs have been hurting. The day after the seizure I could hardly even get out of bed because of my back was hurting so bad when I tried to sit up. After a week I am still hurting. I thought it would start feeling better by now. Is this normal?

I have grand mal seizures

I have grand mal seizures that attacked me three times this year and in previous years. It's very painful muscle soreness, I mean in my back, chest as legs, it's as though I've lifted exercise weights. The soreness lasted me almost three weeks, muscle rub ointment, or a soothing warm bath wEpsom salt or apple cider vinegar does the trick to relief the pains. I can barely stand with feeling like I'm off balance, and the Dilantin I make sure I take before other surprise attacked occur..I stop taking them a few times because the side affects interfere with my life. Realty check, I have no life bc I'm too embarrassed if this happens when away from home. Overnight I can tell if a minor seizure's occurred, I feel the aches at mornings wake. To answer your question, again, soreness lasts long following an episode.
