Alternative Treatments for Infants

Sat, 01/02/2010 - 14:58

I have an 11 month old who suffers from 0-8 seizures per day.  We've tried 6 medications that have all failed and are now on The Ketogenic Diet.  The diet has been amazing at reducing the frequency and intensity of his seizures.  However, I want them GONE!  I am wondering if infant chiropractic care or accupuncture is safe and effective in eliminating seizures.  Does anyone have any experience with either of these?

Also, since my child is too young to tell me about his experience after he has a seizure, could anyone share with me what your kids tell you it's like?  I am wanting to know if touch or light etc is irritating while seizing. He has partial seizures where his limbs go rigid, eyes close and drools lasting about 1 minute.

Thanks for your help!
