Aggression before a seizue

Sat, 10/15/2016 - 07:28
My son is 20 and has had grand Mal seizures for 6 years. These are controlled by epilum and he only has a seizure roughly once a year now. He is though becoming more aggressive before and after the seizure during the recovery period. It seems to be directed towards myself. We are very close and have a strong mother and son bond. Has anyonelse had similar problems? Please help.

At that age of my life after a seizure I too was aggressive. At times people thought it was toward them or myself. It was never toward them it was I wanted to release the pent up energy because I had the seizure. I never wanted them and hated them. At 20 I had been having them for about 7 years.  You get tired of having friends disappear. People you thought were friends say "I don't want to be around him anymore. I would find things that needed work on it and I would literally tear it apart and rebuild it. When Mom saw that she learned to leave me along. She know I was releasing feelings and that after awhile I would be back to my regular self. The seizures wear the body out because each muscle is jerking with all their strength. You don't really know how strong you are. I tosses my 235 lbs stepfather a few feet because rather then move the coffee table he tried to grab my wrist to hold it down. After that 1 time he moved the things around me.
