HI my son has been on Keppra for a few months now and it has made him so mean and moody. I don't want to say its just the Keppra because hes 2. I just don't know if its normal for him to be like this.. B6 Doesn't really seem to make a difference I don't feel it is. I just want to cry so much because he is really mean. Today I already got a text about him throwing things all over the place in daycare. Somebody Help

assuming you want to discuss

assuming you want to discuss changing, call your son's neurologist's office. let them know you need to explore other medication that does not cause your son to get shunned at daycare (or worse). not every medication works out for each person. our pediatric neurology group said about a third of patients on keppra end up switching (when we had decided the effects were unworkable). many (not all) parents' posts on keppra (old foundation site) noted their child's side effects improved after 6-8 weeks but ask your child's doc if younger children respond differently. every drug is different but keppra has fewer bad effects than some other drugs so switching too fast (from any drug) can sometimes be like jumping from the frying pan and into the fire. do be clear about how this is impacting your child, don't sugar coat anything.

It could be the keppra as

It could be the keppra as that is a known side effects, but remember that most two year olds are little tyrants! Talk to the nurse or doctor and report this. Good luck
