Zoning out with eating habits/Binge eating?

Tue, 01/06/2015 - 01:37

Has anyone had weird symptoms of binge eating with there epilepsy?

I get into episodes of feeling like I need to eat everything I can easily get my hands on, especially chocolate or sugar foods, even if I'm not hungry. I randomly have manic episodes of eating non stop, or starting to snack on something, and fall into a delerius like zone out for a minute or two, and before I know it, the whole bag of chips I'm holding is completely gone. It happens on random sudden, occasions. Maybe once a day. And other times I forget to even eat at  all and skip meals.

Along with all of the other epileptic symptoms, this seems to be a rather bizarre one. And this behavior came on suddenly. I'm 21 and have always ate a healthy balanced diet. But the last month, these crazy eating habits are incredibly bizarre. I feel crazy....am I the only one?
