working and epilepsy

I have been recently denied ssd and ssi because I don't have enough work credits in the past 10 years, I have 16 credits, I need 20. I was a stay at home mom until last year when I started substituting at schools. I found out today that I did not pay fica taxes last year so my last recorded taxes were in 2012 and I was diagnosed with epilepsy in October 2015 so there is nothing I can do about the work credits. but they said my hubby makes too much money for ssi. even if it looks good on paper we don't bring in that much income with bills and health insurance..anyway here's my question.. I will go back to work soon, not as a substitute because i'm so stupid on this medicine.. problem is my new neuro says I cannot drive until i'm seizure free for 6 months. I haven't even been able to go a week without one. I'm on 2000 mg a day of keppra. what gets me is I live in Louisiana and as far as I understand there is no rule on driving with epilepsy. I've never lost consciousness, just the awful aura that i'm fully aware of the entire event. I understand why they say you can't drive but I don't understand why this applies to someone who doesn't have convulsive seizures or looses consciousness. although I live miles away from any town I think I would be able to pull over in time. again, I understand the risks and I would never want to harm someone.. so I am wondering what on earth kind of job I can possibly find that will understand if i'm late or can't come in because of a seizure. do you have to disclose this to them? I have only worked in child care, restaurants and hotels. I'm scared of doing anything that requires me thinking because like I said i'm so dumb on this medicine. probably can tell from my ramblings..lol..i thought about trying to find a job that I can arrange transportation with family or friends but again if I have to call the job and tell them I had a seizure how will they feel about that. ugh this is all so confusing to think about..

If you get a divorce maybe

If you get a divorce maybe you'll get SSI In California there is no money for ex's because you have to ask for money from him. Get your own divorce without a lawyer. Then go to the SSA and reapply. You will get about 125.00 from the state and about 775.00 from the Feds. I divorced my first husband because he was a jerk. I did not marry my guy because my meds cost several thousand a month. You should get health care  and meds 100 percent from welfare. It is sneaky but neither of us together could pay 6 grand a month
