Has anyone ever contacted their local Epilepsy Foundation chapter? It's gonna be the first time that I'll be calling them and I was wondering if anyone else had done the same. And if you did, I also wondered how helpful they were. Any input would be helpful and a bit uplifting.

I never have, but I'm curious about the link between the title and the post? Are you contacting them to look for work?

yeah, since i just lost my job and it's tough for me to find work, my mom suggested that I call them. Actually she pretty much forced me to but i have bills to pay, as well as rent, and i can't live off of mom and dad forever. As much as they love me, they have 3 other kids to support.

that's a great idea- especially considering down here when i was fired from a job for informing my boss that i had seizures (so she knew in case something came up) the EEOC did nothing.... i would love to work for something i feel strongly about....i hope they can help you out! :)
