Will becoming a paramedic interfere with epilepsy?

Sat, 06/02/2007 - 01:35
I would love to become a paramedic, however I'm not sure if it's the best career path to follow with epilepsy. I have complex/simple partial seizures, but they've been under total control since october. What do you guys think? I really want this.

I am a firefighter/EMT and my daughter has seizures.I would never tell her not to follow her dreams.Exspecially if your seizures are under control. We have firefighters with a number of different medical problems and that doesnt stop them.I say go for it and the best of luck to you!
