Hi Shorty, I too respond badly to the side effects of my meds. It's irritating in the leaast. I had my driving priviledges taken away a year ago this June. I am seriously considering surgery. Have you? I know that I wouldn't be a candidate for the brain surgery, because my seizures are all over. They'd have to take out too much. :) I HAVE been reading up on the VNS implant. The next time I talk to my doctor, I'm going to talk to her about this. I'm on Keppra and Lamictal right now. The side effects from Keppra are driving me crazy. I'm so irritable. Anyway, best of luck! Keri

Hi Ladybug. Question. Are your seizures starting at one point and spreading or starting from all diferent areas at diferent times?

Hey Colina, They are coming

Hey Colina, They are coming from all different areas. Apparently, the areas they are coming from is hard to do surgery on. I couldn't tell you where that was, because I have never really asked. I know, I know, you're thinking "Well, why not?" The meds controlled them for so long, that I never really worried about it. It's since I hit my late 30's that they have gotten hard to control. Grrrr! I plan to ask when I go in to see my dr. :) Anyway, take care. Keri
