When one Comes at Contretempts with a Cannon

Tue, 10/11/2016 - 09:26
In 2004 I had a disagreement with a 3" shore battery cannon as to right of way... it left me with an impression of the side of the barrel end over the right temporal lobe about the depth of a fingertip... first presenting as "sorry about this, I know exactly what I want, I just cannot SAY it..." at fast food counters. now, it has gotten more frequent over time... still a rare occurrence (daily to weekly). but now neurologist tells me that I cannot legally drive, or should not drive. I am looking for a wearable that will track and report this kind of seizure, preferably with integration to the Samsung S Health app. I am aware of the Empatica > Embrace Smart-Monitor > Smart Watch will they work to detect this type of seizure, what is the price range? Will Aetna help with purchase?

now neurologist tells me that I cannot legally drive, or should not drive.  <<<< state laws are written to protect the people in the states. You might want to check with the state because every one of them have laws about people having seizures and driving. I know it can hinder you some but if you have an accident could you hurt or kill yourself or somebody else??? Yes neurologists have paperwork they fill out and the DMV requires them to fill it out. One set which revokes your license the other is to reinstate it. Each state has a time period without a seizure before it can be reistated. So he is right especiallyif like you posted still rare occurrance (daily to weekly).. Rare to me is a month or longer. I have gone months without a seizure only to have one and another one the next week. I also went 3 years without one. Today my seizures are 1 every 8-14 days. They last a few seconds. But I am aware of them and can function and do things. Except for my right hand. It is the thing that is affected, SO what might happen if I was moving from one lane to another while on the freeway??? Could I have an accodent? You want a device that can trsack and report a seizure. But you never posted the type of seizures you want tracked. In the community forum there is a section devoted to surgery and devices.. Have you looked at any of them? Have you called the 24/7 help line to ask if they know of the maker of them. Yes there are devices and apps for several things, But I do not know if there is a specific device you are looking for.The 24/7 help line is 1-800-332-1000

one shouldn't disagree with a cannon. They tend to win most disagreements
