What now?

I have complex partial and tonic clonics from a head injury. Trying to move forward in my life but I feel stuck & Hopeless. I've been to cognitive therapy and asked department of rehab for help, but they just want me to walk and get a job at McDonald's. My intelligence is still fully in tact, I just have such a hard time processing and retaining info. What kind of job should I look for that would be accomadating to cognitive problems without undermining my intelligence? I'd appreciate any help at this point. Being almost 30 and living with mom, no job or drivers license is kind of sucking the life out of me

state employment departments now have a person working in their offices that are to help those with handicaps. They have companies that hire handicapped people. They can also get training for you and other things so go check out the employment departments in your city
