what is a myoclonic seizure??

I have heard children get myoclonic seizures but can adults get it too and what happens during a myoclonic seizure i would really appreciate it if someone would explain it to me during the sezure does it affect your speech cause thats the type of seizure i have been having like trouble putting words together like when you have a stroke. jennifer

From what you have explained to me about your symptoms, it does not seem that you are having myoclonic seizures.
